This is the website of the Belgian Research Group “Hagiologia” founded in 1994 investigating saints, sanctity and hagiographic topics. They published the Litterae Hagiologicae. However, neither the site nor the journal seems to be active recently.

They have a section on Spanish hagiography and include free access to sources, editions, bibliographies, research as well as a collection of  interesting links. An excellent site! The Arbeitskreis für hagiographische Fragen is concerned with the interdisciplinary and international connection of research dealing with Saints, Sanctity, Hagiography, Religiosity. There are yearly meetings in Stuttgart-Hohenheim (Germany) to discuss current research and regular conferences in Weingarten.
